Major General Alexander BOLIGATOV Deputy Minister of Defence for Logistics, Chief of Logistics
Alexander Boligatov was born in the village of Usoshnoye, Chechersk Vicinity, Gomel Region, Belarus on 9 July 1954.
Educated at the Volsk Military Logistics School, in 1975 he was appointed chief of battalion's subsistence with promotion to the unit's deputy commander for logistics.
In 1985, Alexander Boligatov earned an honoured degree at the Military Academy of Logistics and Transport and reported to the Soviet Force in Germany, where he occupied the positions of deputy commander for logistics of a tank regiment and an artillery brigade.
In 1990-1992, Alexander Boligatov served in the Kiev Military District as deputy commander for logistics of a radio-technical brigade.
In the Belarusian Armed Forces he served as deputy commander for logistics of the 306th artillery brigade, the 72nd guards combined training centre, as well as of Belarus Air Defence and the country's Air Force and Air Defence.
On 16 November 2006, Alexander Boligatov was appointed Deputy Minister of Defence for Logistics, Chief of Logistics, following a relevant President's decree.
